Our policies
What to know before you book.
Booking and deposits
Book a barber by name, or book a service and take the next open chair. Booking holds your time and no deposit is taken. Walk-ins are taken when a chair is open.
Canceling and running late
Tell us at least 12 hours ahead to cancel or move your time, by text or on the booking page. We hold your chair for 10 minutes after your time; after that we offer it to the line.
If you miss an appointment
A missed visit is noted on your booking. After a second one, we ask you to confirm by text before we hold a time for you again.
Children and companions
Straight-razor shaves are for ages 16 and up. Younger clients are welcome for a cut or a beard trim, with a parent in the shop. One person waits with each client so the chairs stay open for the line.
Patch tests and allergies
We do not do patch tests. If a product has bothered your skin, tell your barber before we start and we will leave it out. If you have a skin condition, check with your doctor before a shave.
If you're not happy
Tell us within a few days and we will make it right. A line or an edge that needs a touch-up is done at the chair.
Tipping
Tips go to the barber who worked on you. You can leave one in cash at the chair or on the card machine.
Walk-ins and the line
Walk-ins take the next open chair, in the order they sign the board. Booked clients are seen at their time and the line waits for them. Waits vary; the board shows who is next. The line closes 30 minutes before we do, and Saturdays are booked only.
Before your visit
For a first shaping, come with about four weeks of growth if you can, and bring a photo of a beard you like. For a hot towel shave, arrive with a day of growth and a clean face. Come ten minutes early if it is your first visit.
