What happens, and how long it takes

Step 1: A warm towel
A hot towel over the beard softens the whiskers. We talk about the line you want while it works.

Step 2: Lather
Lather is brushed on by hand, so the razor glides over it and the skin is cushioned.

Step 3: The razor
A new blade, short strokes and your barber's other hand keeping the skin taut. We go slower over tender spots.

Step 4: The finish
A cool towel, then a clean-up of the edges and a comb through whatever beard stays.

How long does it take?
A hot towel shave takes about 45 minutes. A beard and shave together takes about an hour.
What should I do before I come?
Arrive with a day or more of growth and a clean face. Skip a shave at home that morning.
I have sensitive skin. Can I still have one?
Tell your barber before we start and we will slow down. If a skin condition worries you, check with your doctor first.
Do you use a new blade?
A new blade for every shave. Tools are disinfected between clients.
